CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Enjoy learning Spanish not only during class but also during our cultural and extracurricular activities. We encourage all students to participate in as many activities as possible, as you will find they greatly enhance your understanding and connection to the culture.

Latin dance class

Always a hit. It doesn't matter if you can dance or not, everybody can take part in a beginners class of Salsa. Teachers from a professional dance school will give a salsa class that will not only show you the basics, it's a lot of fun as well! Contact us if you are interested in taking an intensive salsa course. We can arrange this for you.

Cooking class

Cooking classes take place in the Spanish school. We show you how to prepare a typical Panamanian dish; the explanation will be in Spanish. And of course we will enjoy the meal together!

Cultural Class

We know that beyond just wanting to master the Spanish language, our students are also looking forward to learning about the Panamanian culture and Panama lifestyle. There’s no doubt that a curious mind will be filled to the brim with queries. That’s where our workshops come in. They provide the opportunity for interested students to get together and explore topics in a laid-back environment. We’ll answer all the whys, what’s and how’s, share useful tips, and in the process make you a wiser traveler in Panama Each workshop is hosted by one of our knowledgeable staff who will walk you through all the basics of the day’s topic and field any questions you may have. Topics of the workshops rotate on a weekly basis to suit the needs of the always changing mix of students attending the school every week.

Educational Trips

We want our students to enjoy their time in Panama as well as learn Spanish. For this reason our school organizes an extensive cultural programme, enabling students to find out more about the culture of the country they are visiting as well as at the same time providing them with extra opportunities to meet locals and practice their Spanish. The precise content of the cultural programme varies, depending on the location. Some activities are provided free-of-charge. Others are optional extras, for which students can pay directly to our schools, after their arrival, if they wish to participate in a particular excursion or activity. All the cultural activities provide students with the opportunity to practice out-of-class the Spanish that they learn in class.
